defense of products liability, errors and omissions, general personal
injury, municipal liability, and commercial litigation.
Professional:
Admitted to practice in New Hampshire, 1981. Mr. Murphy
served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Martin F. Loughlin, U.S. District
Court, District of New Hampshire, 1981-1982. Mr. Murphy was admitted to
the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire, 1982,
and The First Circuit Court of Appeals, 1992. Mr. Murphy is a member of
the Manchester, New Hampshire and American Bar Associations.
He has served on the New Hampshire Bar Association
Committee on Cooperation with the Courts and the Special Committees on the
Rules of Evidence and of the Rules of Civil Procedure. Mr. Murphy has been
a mediator with the Superior Court Rule 170 ADR program since its
inception.

Activities:
Mr. Murphy is a member of the Board of Directors of the
Legal Advice & Referral Center/New Hampshire Legal Assistance, is a
Past Director of New Hampshire Habitat for Humanity and is a member of the
Board of Trustees and Past Deacon of the South Congregational Church of
Concord, New Hampshire.

Born Waltham, Massachusetts, February 17, 1952, is
married to the Rev Gayle A Murphy, and has three sons.
