Stephen's practice includes all aspects of commercial litigation, corporate, and real estate law, with a focus on construction litigation, mechanic's liens, bankruptcy, and landlord and tenant law. Stephen has extensive experience representing developers and contractors throughout New Hampshire in construction defect cases. Stephen is also experienced in the perfection of mechanic's liens and other civil attachments. Additionally, Stephen has experience representing creditors in bankruptcy proceedings.

Stephen was admitted in 2002 to practice in all New Hampshire courts, including the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire. Stephen was admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit in 2005. Stephen is a member of the Manchester Bar Association, the New Hampshire Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.



Stephen serves as a member on Finance Committee of the New Hampshire Bar Association.

Stephen has represented several national commercial property owners in both personal injury and landlord/tenant matters. Stephen has also successfully argued a First Circuit Court of Appeals case relating to the appeal of a bankruptcy adversary proceeding based upon a fraudulent transfer.
