Over his 30 years as a lawyer, Ron Lajoie has represented health care practitioners and hospitals in the defense of medical malpractice cases in the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire, the Supreme Court of New Hampshire and in every County of the New Hampshire Superior Court. Attorney Lajoie has also represented physicians before the New Hampshire Board of Medicine and has advised hospitals on credentialing, risk management, quality assurance, regulatory and other issues.

Attorney Lajoie has lectured on medical malpractice prevention and litigation to hospitals and medical groups throughout New Hampshire and has represented national manufacturers and companies in the defense of products liability claims. Most recently, Mr. Lajoie has been appointed by the Chief Justice of the New Hampshire Superior Court to serve on a rules committee of trial attorneys and judges created to draft RSA 519-B Medical Malpractice Screening Panel Guidelines. He has also worked with the New Hampshire Medical Society to address professional liability issues and concerns.

Attorney Lajoie is a member of the New Hampshire and American Bar Associations, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the Defense Research Institute. Mr. Lajoie served as a member of the Special Committee on the Rules of Evidence (1984-1988) and the Committee on Cooperation with Other Professions (1988-1993) of the New Hampshire Bar Association. He was appointed as Law Clerk to the Honorable John W. King, Chief Justice, Supreme Court of New Hampshire, 1979-1980.

Mr. Lajoie has received the Highest Rating in Legal Ability and Ethical Standards from Martindale-Hubbell and is listed in The Best Lawyers in America in the area of personal injury litigation. He has also been selected as a New England Super Lawyer by New England Super Lawyers Magazine and as a Top Lawyer by New Hampshire Magazine. Mr. Lajoie is a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, a trial lawyer honor society composed of less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers.

Mr. Lajoie is a founding member and President of a 2000 member non-profit organization known at REACH (Residents Environmental Action Committee for Health). Attorney Lajoie has worked with Governor Lynch, the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services and the New Hampshire Legislature to draft and enact legislation to limit hazardous air emissions throughout the State. Mr. Lajoie has represented REACH in the Superior Court and before the Solid Waste Management Council and has testified before Senate and House subcommittees. Attorney Lajoie and his organization have also participated in the Climate Change Policy Task Force established by Governor Lynch.
