A partner in the firm since 1990, Mr. Peters specializes in the defense of hospitals, physicians and nurses in medical malpractice litigation. In addition to representing medical care providers throughout the state in medical negligence cases, he also consults with hospitals and QA/RM representatives on a variety of risk management and quality assurance issues. He has given numerous presentations to physician and nursing groups across the state on medical liability and risk management issues.

Mr. Peters is a member of the New Hampshire and American Bar Associations and the ABA's sections on Litigation and Health Law. He is also a Fellow of the New Hampshire Bar Foundation. He currently serves as a member of the New Hampshire Superior Court Medical Malpractice Screening Panel Rules Drafting Committee.


He has been selected for inclusion inThe Best Lawyers in America since 2008 in the field of Medical Malpractice Law, and was listed in New Hampshire Magazine in 2007 as one of New Hampshire's Top Lawyers in Medical Malpractice Law.



He graduated with honors from Middlebury College in 1981, and graduated in 1984 from the Boston University School of Law, where he served as an Associate Editor of the American Journal of Law and Medicine.
