This material is intended to equip the special education administrator to understand the legal requirements of the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act as amended by the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001, and reauthorized in January 2002. It is our goal to equip the administrator to address the particularly unique challenges presented with the education of homeless children and youth.
