Attorney Eggert presented this seminar to the New Hampshire Association of Special Education Administrators on April 16, 2004. The purpose of this material is to provide the special education administrator with an understanding of the “Administrative Simplification” standards adopted by Health and Human Services under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).
