In 2008, the New Hampshire State Board of Education made substantial revisions to the New Hampshire Rules for the Education of Students with Disabilities. These changes included fifty-six (56) new definitions, new elements to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), requirements pertaining to attendance at IEP Team meetings, child find requirements, and evaluation timelines. These changes, and more, are discussed in this material, with key changes highlighted throughout. The rules discussed in this material took effect on June 30, 2008.
