Michael represents clients in all types of civil litigation. He has litigated cases on behalf of both municipalities and land owners in land use cases and has defended clients in professional malpractice, medical malpractice, construction disputes and insurance defense cases. Michael has tried cases in all levels of courts in New Hampshire. His research interests include constitutional claims in land use cases and the constitutionality of abortion regulations. Michael's published articles include Post-Viability Abortion Bans and the Limits of the Health Exception, 80 Notre Dame L. Rev. 465 (2004). Prior to the practice of law, Michael taught high school history and A.P. Government at St. Johnsbury Academy in St. Johnsbury, Vermont.


Michael is a magna cum laude graduate of Notre Dame Law School and earned his B.A. in History and Government from Dartmouth College.



Michael lives with his wife and children in Contoocook, New Hampshire.
